Koffa Shanghai Studio is Now Open!
We are excited to announce that we have relocated to a fantastic new space in 申報館 for our showroom in Shanghai!
The Shen Pao Newspaper Office (申報館) is a five-story reinforced concrete building with neoclassical architecture, completed in 1918. Its location is excellent, situated in the core business district of Huangpu District. On day one, the building housed the newspaper office of “Shen Pao,” which was the largest publisher with the longest history and the highest circulation volume in the 19th and 20th centuries. For some reason, Shen Pao ceased publication, and the building transitioned to another publisher Jiefang Daily (解放日报), before being repurposed for other uses. Since the 1990s, it has been listed as a protected historical and cultural building by the Shanghai government. It is no surprise that the building looks so special and stunning today.
In our new showroom, we aim to create a chill and relaxing atmosphere that will impress our clients during lighting demonstrations. We have prominently displayed the majority of our key collections, and we are also excited to showcase unique lighting techniques that will guide clients on how to use lighting effectively. We won’t reveal too many photos of our showroom—come visit us, and you will be amazed!
